Procurement Analyst
We are looking for a detail-driven and analytical Procurement Analyst to support and optimize procurement operations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing supplier data, analyzing purchasing trends, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
About the Role
As a Procurement Analyst, you will work at the intersection of data, suppliers, and strategy. You will analyze procurement activities, identify savings opportunities, and support decision-making through data insights. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers will be essential to ensure efficient and compliant procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Support sourcing strategies by evaluating supplier performance, pricing, and contract terms.
- Monitor purchasing activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
- Assist in supplier selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends and supplier capabilities.
- Support contract management activities, including tracking renewals and obligations.
- Identify risks within the supply chain and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement processes and tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or data analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract principles.
- Experience working with procurement systems, ERP platforms, or data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting techniques.
