About the Role
As an Academic English Tutor, you will deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual and group needs. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in academic English.
- Support learners in academic writing, including essays, reports, and research papers.
- Provide guidance on grammar, vocabulary, and academic style.
- Assist with proofreading and constructive feedback to improve written work.
- Help students develop critical reading and analytical skills.
- Prepare teaching materials and adapt content to different proficiency levels.
- Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback and recommendations.
- Support preparation for academic exams and English proficiency tests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching quality and methodology.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring academic English.
- Strong understanding of academic writing standards and referencing styles.
