QA Analyst
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our products before release. This role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Identify, log, and track defects using test management and issue-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure issues are resolved.
- Document and communicate test results, providing clear feedback to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings in Agile environments.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training or guidance when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst, Software Tester, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience creating detailed test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems.
- Basic knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing enterprise-level applications or large-scale platforms.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
