Acceptance Testing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Acceptance Testing Specialist to ensure our products meet quality, functionality, and business requirements before release. In this role, you will work closely with development, QA, product management, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and document acceptance testing activities. Your expertise will help guarantee that deliverables align with customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute acceptance test plans, cases, and scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand acceptance criteria and requirements.
- Perform hands-on functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects using established tools and processes.
- Verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
- Create clear and comprehensive test documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices.
- Provide feedback on usability, user experience, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in acceptance testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or quality assurance in complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to write detailed and accurate test plans and test cases.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid development environments.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in testing enterprise-level applications or large-scale digital platforms.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
