Procurement Manager
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations, develop supplier relationships, and optimize sourcing strategies to support business objectives. This role will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and compliance across all purchasing activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business goals and deliver cost savings.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal terms and performance.
- Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Manage procurement budgets, track spending, and prepare regular cost analysis reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains in procurement workflows.
- Monitor market trends, assess risks, and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, finance, and quality control to meet organizational needs.
- Resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, and quality concerns effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement management or senior purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and market analysis.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
