Usability Consultant

We are seeking a highly analytical and user-focused Usability Consultant to join our digital experience team. In this role, you will help evaluate and improve the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of our digital products and services. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet user needs and deliver seamless, intuitive experiences.

Responsibilities

Conduct usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
Analyze user behavior through qualitative and quantitative methods
Create usability reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to guide design decisions based on user data
Support the development and refinement of user personas and customer journeys
Contribute to product design reviews and provide input from a usability standpoint
Stay current with UX best practices, accessibility standards, and usability trends

Requirements

Proven experience as a usability consultant, UX researcher, or similar role
Strong understanding of usability principles, human-centered design, and user psychology
Proficiency in usability testing methods, tools, and analysis
Ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of accessibility guidelines such as WCAG
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field preferred
