Store Sales Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient store environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for retail, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and promotions to support customer inquiries and encourage sales
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, card payments, and returns
- Replenish stock on the shop floor, ensuring all displays are well-organized and visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the store manager
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store, fitting rooms, and stockroom at all times
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets
- Participate in regular training sessions and store meetings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Fluency in English is required; Swedish is highly beneficial
