Reporting Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Reporting Analyst to join our finance and business intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering accurate, timely reports and insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), financial results, and operational metrics
- Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into clear data outputs
- Validate data integrity and perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of all reporting deliverables
- Analyze trends, variances, and patterns in data and provide actionable insights to management teams
- Automate manual reporting processes using appropriate tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Prepare visual dashboards and presentations that effectively communicate performance against targets
- Document report definitions, data sources, and processes to build institutional knowledge and support compliance
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including management and regulatory reporting packages
- Support data governance efforts and contribute to improving data quality and reporting standards
- Train business users on report interpretation and self-service reporting tools
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a complex organization
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization features
- Experience working with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and transform them into clear business insights
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial or operational reporting in an international business environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data quality management practices
- Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives
