We are looking for a skilled and driven .NET Backend Developer to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems using the Microsoft .NET stack. Working closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, youโ€™ll help deliver reliable solutions that meet modern business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture and new features
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
  • Work with databases (SQL Server, Entity Framework) to ensure efficient data handling
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backend performance issues and propose improvements
  • Stay updated on new technologies and propose tools or approaches to improve system performance and developer productivity

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with C# and .NET/.NET Core
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations
  • Experience with SQL databases, ORM tools, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments
  • Experience with distributed systems and message-based communication (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
