Banking Transformation Lead

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Banking Transformation Lead to drive strategic change initiatives, modernize operations, and deliver innovative banking solutions. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful transformation projects that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute transformation strategies to enhance banking operations, products, and services.
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and monitoring of large-scale change programs across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with executives, product owners, and technology teams to define transformation roadmaps and priorities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
  • Manage project risks, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, ensuring all initiatives meet banking standards and legal requirements.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Track and report on key transformation metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading transformation initiatives in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, digital banking, and financial products.
  • Expertise in change management, project management methodologies, and process improvement frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital transformation programs in retail, commercial, or investment banking.
  • Knowledge of agile delivery methods, design thinking, and innovation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments such as PSD2, AML, GDPR, and Basel standards.
