Application Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Application Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize business-critical applications. In this role, you will ensure that systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, supporting daily operations and long-term digital initiatives.
About the Role
As an Application Administrator, you will act as the bridge between business users and IT teams, ensuring that applications meet operational needs while maintaining high performance and reliability. You will oversee system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of application environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Configure application settings, user access, and system integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, incidents, and service requests.
- Collaborate with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders to implement updates and enhancements.
- Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements where needed.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing and system validation.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide user support, training, and guidance on application functionality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application administration or system support roles.
- Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, or HR systems.
- Familiarity with databases, system integrations, and basic scripting.
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise environments.
- Knowledge of security practices and data protection standards.
