Senior Project Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Project Analyst to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, track progress, and ensure that projects meet strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to monitor project progress and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support budget planning, cost tracking, and financial forecasting for projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate project data.
- Facilitate risk assessments and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, change logs, and meeting notes.
- Analyze project outcomes against initial goals to provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Assist in developing project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis and reporting techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a project analyst, business analyst, or in a similar analytical role, with a focus on large or complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with budget tracking, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in business, project management, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar.
