Senior Project Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Project Analyst to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex projects. This role involves working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, track progress, and ensure that projects meet strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to monitor project progress and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed project status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support budget planning, cost tracking, and financial forecasting for projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate project data.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, change logs, and meeting notes.
  • Analyze project outcomes against initial goals to provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing project management processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis and reporting techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a project analyst, business analyst, or in a similar analytical role, with a focus on large or complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with budget tracking, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in business, project management, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar.
