Strategic Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-savvy Strategic Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to long-term strategic planning. This role involves working cross-functionally with teams across the organization to identify growth opportunities, evaluate business performance, and provide actionable insights to drive operational and strategic improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business data and market trends to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
  • Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance evaluations to assess ROI and business impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements for strategic projects and business cases
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and executive teams
  • Evaluate current business processes and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, or increase revenue
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success of initiatives
  • Support strategic planning cycles and assist in the development of annual plans, budgets, and long-term forecasts
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to support strategic positioning and market entry assessments
  • Act as a liaison between business units and the data analytics team, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3โ€“5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in quantitative analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience working with large datasets and familiarity with SQL or other query tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to various stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics and business drivers
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
