Strategic Business Analyst
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-savvy Strategic Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to long-term strategic planning. This role involves working cross-functionally with teams across the organization to identify growth opportunities, evaluate business performance, and provide actionable insights to drive operational and strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business data and market trends to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
- Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance evaluations to assess ROI and business impact
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements for strategic projects and business cases
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and executive teams
- Evaluate current business processes and suggest improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, or increase revenue
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success of initiatives
- Support strategic planning cycles and assist in the development of annual plans, budgets, and long-term forecasts
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to support strategic positioning and market entry assessments
- Act as a liaison between business units and the data analytics team, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Masterโs degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3โ5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, or corporate strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience working with large datasets and familiarity with SQL or other query tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to various stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics and business drivers
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage
