Network Systems Administrator
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our network and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Maintain and configure Windows and Linux servers, user accounts, backups, and security protocols
- Ensure system integrity, availability, and efficient performance through proactive maintenance and updates
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the network
- Support cybersecurity measures, including intrusion detection, antivirus, and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support infrastructure needs for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Document system configurations, procedures, and updates for internal records
- Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements in infrastructure and technology
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools is a plus
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA are advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus
