Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven Software Tester who is passionate about ensuring reliable, high-performing digital products. In this role, you will act as a guardian of quality, identifying issues before users ever encounter them and helping deliver seamless software experiences.

About the Role
As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for validating software functionality, usability, and performance across various applications and platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, design test strategies, and ensure that products meet both technical and user expectations. Your work will directly influence product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects through to resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand features and technical implementations.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Validate software against requirements, specifications, and user expectations.
  • Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines with testing activities.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear reports on quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and best practices.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages is beneficial.
