Carbon Reduction Consultant
We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Carbon Reduction Consultant to support our sustainability efforts by developing and implementing strategies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain. You will play a critical role in guiding departments and stakeholders toward achieving ambitious carbon reduction goals aligned with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current carbon footprint across scopes 1, 2, and 3 and identify key emission sources
- Develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and action plans
- Provide expertise on climate risk, decarbonization, and low-carbon technologies
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) and carbon accounting using recognized methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064)
- Support sustainability reporting and compliance with climate-related frameworks (e.g., SBTi, CDP, TCFD)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote climate initiatives
- Monitor progress against climate targets and prepare regular progress reports
- Contribute to the development of climate training and awareness programs
Qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in carbon footprint analysis and reduction strategies
- Solid understanding of emissions standards, reporting frameworks, and energy transition policies
- Familiarity with carbon accounting tools and software
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication in English; Swedish is an advantage
