Part 1 – Your CV and cover letter presentation for Swedish employers

Your CV is your most important tool and first impressions matter to Swedish employers. Get past the screening stage with the perfect CV and get more responses and interview requests.

This is your chance to work directly with a recruiter, get real feedback on your CV and job search from an employer’s perspective.

 

What you will learn:

1. Learn how the hiring process works in Sweden

 

2. Learn what Swedish employers look for in a CV and to format it for different types of Swedish employers

 

3. Learn how to present your experience, demonstrate your credibility and performance with references, quantifiable results and brands

Most jobs in Sweden are primarily filled by candidates introduced to the employer by contacts or job agencies. It helps to be verified and have trusted references so that your application has more credibility.

Part 3 – Your Swedish job interview – preparation and practice for success

There are usually 3 interviews in Sweden. Have an advantage over other candidates by being better prepared for the interview.

Jobseeker visa

1. Document preparation
  • We ensure your work permit application is successful by having the right documentation and meeting all the requirements
  • Your application needs to be supported by other documents, including motivation letters, a job search plan for when you are in Sweden, health insurance, etc
  • All documents must be well-written and error-free
  • All documents must be translated into English or Swedish
    2. Job search plan and motivation letter (required by Swedish Migration Agency)
    • The job search plan must detail the activities you plan to do during your job search in Sweden
    • The motivation letter must detail your skills and related career goals in Sweden
    • Write and submit both plans along with your application
    • Job search and matching. Searching internal databases, contact networks and agency databases to find the perfect match
    • Job databases specific to your job search, and where companies publish them
    • Extend your search to industry-specific databases where jobs relevant to your industry are published
    • Get weekly updates on new jobs posted
    3. Filing your application with Swedish Migration
    • Filing your application to the Swedish Migration Board in compliance with all the rules
    • Ensure all application forms, supporting documents, certificates, and letters are included
    4. Quicker processing time
    • The processing time is faster if all your documents are in the right format and order
    • We will check for accuracy and errors before you submit your application
    • Small mistakes can lead to long delays as it gets pushed to the back of the queue. In some cases, it may be rejected, and you will have to reapply
    • We have received permission from the Swedish Migration Agency to offer our customers a fast application process for companies that are registered for the program. For job applications to large publicly listed companies We can therefore guarantee a decision within 2-4 weeks, which can normally take up to 10 weeks.
    5. Help before you arrive in Sweden
    • Get help finding accommodation and planning your move
    • Finding accommodation can be a difficult task if you are unfamiliar with the city. Get help with finding places to stay
    6. Help after you arrive in Sweden
    • Get help with cultural orientation and learning to live in a new city
    • Get help with free language lessons
    • Get help registering at the tax office for a social security number, and registering for benefits, insurance and trade union membership

     

    After you have registered you will receive:
